About Me

One of my favorite things to do is Kayak the Gulf of Mexico

I am Youth Pastor working in Southeast Texas.  I actually travel quite a bit between churches.  Presently I also do fill-in pulpit work.  I have been an educator since 1974 but I have completely adopted Home Schooling as an educator because of what I see in the schools.  I still substitute to keep my hand in, work with kids and see what is gong on.  I am just a common guy stumbling along trying to follow and imitate Jesus Christ.  Sometimes I get closer; sometimes not.  But I try.   Blessings to you.  If you find something useful here perhaps you would be kind enough to provide a link.

Additionally, I do professional woodcraft, professional photography and am interested in a sustainable lifestyle using the resources of the Lord in ways pleasing to him.  I am developing an urban farm in my backyard.  I am retired from teaching now aiming to make my living from my home.

  1. I read your kind comment today and just thought I’d drop by and say thank you. I’m very sorry to hear about the loss of your wife and child. That is a hard road to walk… I’m glad to see that your faith was sustained and you were enabled to keep walking.

I hope you are recovering fully from your latest accident, as well… It is always heartening to hear stories that strengthen our faith. Fear is ever present with us on earth. It’s an ongoing battle to trust in the goodness of the Lord, but it’s a good fight!

Nice to “meet” you! I’d enjoy hearing more of your story. Thanks again for stopping by.

    • Thanks Jen… God is so good… I am in fact completely recovered from the accident. Everything is back in place better than it was before.. I really appreciate the “visit”. Nice to meet you too and I look forward to gaining insight from your wisdom.
